MEMORIAM SYMPHONIC BAND CUMMINGS (BD9643 ) (Band Concert )

On July 4, 1994, a lightning strike started a small wildfire on Storm King Mountain near Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Before it was extinguished, fourteen firefighters had given their lives battling this deadly blaze. This monumental tribute movingly recreates this event: from the quiet, pristine mountain beauty, through the horrors of the fire, on to the barren aftermath, and a finale in glorious tribute to these fallen heroes.
