HEROIC SAGA SYMPHONIC BAND JAGER (BD9939 ) (Band Concert )
In commissioning this work, the Kinki University Symphonic Band from Higashi-Osaka, Japan, requested a work "romantic" in nature. The resulting tone poem is a stunning concert work with dramatic orchestral effects in the spirit of Richard Strauss and Franz Liszt. We herald this work as one of the literature's most important contemporary works. (6:03)
